Sensei Emmanuel Herzog
Sensei Emmanuel Herzog is a certified 4th Dan black belt instructor in the Japanese Martial art discipline of Aikido issued by the Aikido Foundation in Tokyo, Japan. He started his training at the age of 13 under the Venezuelan National Chief Instructor Sensei Nelson Requena 6th Dan. Sensei Herzog is also a certified instructor in Aikido training for children.
With over 20 years of Aikido practice and more than 11 years of teaching experience, Sensei Herzog has conducted many seminars and exhibitions in Latin American countries like Brazil, Argentina, Panama, Aruba, Venezuela besides the United States in New York, Colorado, Illinois and Florida. He also has been guest to several television and radio programs and has appeared in articles in specialized magazines
Throughout his career Sensei Herzog has proven strong leadership and success since 1997 in the Technical Director position for the Venezuelan Aikido Federation. In this position he was responsible to train, test and evaluate other Aikido instructors.
Currently, Sensei Emmanuel Herzog is an instructor for Florida Aikikai main dojo at Fort Lauderdale and most recently at the Miramar Civic Center. Sensei Herzog is an active member of the United States Aikido Federation (USAF) and the Latin American Aikido Federation (LAAF).
